Esun Nylon 12 Carbon Fiber Now in NZ!
We're really proud to be the first to introduce this highly sought after Nylon 12 grade Carbon Reinforced 3d filament in New Zealand. Most other filaments are Nylon 6. Our PA12 opens up possibilities that PA6 might not be capable enough to handle. Nylon PA12 far less moisture absorption making PA12 CF more suited to use in close aqueous or wet conditions even in contact with water. PA6 can get soft if it left in water for very long. Nylon 12 also handles much hotter temperatures, is much stiffer than Nylon 6, & even stronger - better than Nylon 6/6 as well. Nylon 12 also has excellent anti static properties. It is also UL94 V2 Flame Retardant for a continuous running temp of 120C making it perfect for electronics housings. Please be aware that Carbon Fiber however is slightly conductive, so if you need insulative properties, then the Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon Filament will be a better choice. They responded promptly and recommend a basic 3d printer which turned out absolutely fit for purpose. Ordered online and with good communication i had printer within days. Will definitely return when I upgrade. This printing stuff is very addictive.
