Nylon 12 has several advantages over the usual Nylon 6 filaments.
It has very low moisture abosrption, & far better UV performance.
Higher Strength, Better Flexural Strength, High Surface Abrasion Resistance, Excellent Chemical Resistance, & works well with Lubricants.
Nylon is suited perfectly in lubricating applications for bearings, gears & pulleys with belts.

Nylon is a challenging material to 3d print. Active Heated chamber recommended for the best performance.
Please consider advanced 3d printers such as the Creatbot F-430 3D Printer if you intend to 3D Print Functional parts frequently.

Sent them an email explaining what I was trying to achieve and asked for their advice. They responded promptly and recommend a basic 3d printer which turned out absolutely fit for purpose. Ordered online and with good communication i had printer within days. Will definitely return when I upgrade. This printing stuff is very addictive.
