Introducing ePLA-Gloss by Esun, a shinny glossy PLA that is designed for users who want a super-shiny metal like PLA filament.
Silk PLA also has a beautiful glossy look, however, it is weaker & can be a little stringier which can instantly show blobs or zits on shiny surfaces.
The new PLA Gloss filament has the shiny look comparable to silk filament, without the higher likelyhood of oozing, leaving a far better surface finish on parts.

Esun PLA Gloss is reflective, & is great for decorative pieces, faux jewellery, & applications like architecture where metal structures have to be shown.

Esun Gloss PLA is an environmentally friendly bio material and easy to print just like all PLA filament.

To improve sustainability,  the reel is made by injection molding filament production waste and other industrial waste.
And the outer box is made of recyclable paper.
This enables 3D printing to be more aligned with New Zealand’s environmental protection goals & climate emergency.

Description

ePLA-Matte is 21% lighter than standard PLA, so with a lower density than common pla materials, the cost of 3d printing actually reduces when using PLA matte.
It is very comparable to Light Weight PLA, while giving you access to higher strength & at a lower price.

Compared with ABS, ePLA-Matte has higher rigidity and PC-like strength and does not require a closed cavity.
It has low shrinkage, no warping and is great for large size model printing.

Supports are easy to peel from the surface with a smooth, just like our popular Esun PLA+ filament.
No odor while printing, which is safe and environmentally friendly, perfect for indoor office environments, & great for school classrooms.

This filament is not brittle so doesn’t crack easily.

These guys are awesome. I used to buy my filament from overseas for my projects and needed something in a hurry and went looking for something local. I'm so glad I did. Not only are the prices as good or better than what I was getting overseas and even more of a deal when considering the pricing I was paying for shipping their turn around each time has been next day. Sent them an email explaining what I was trying to achieve and asked for their advice. They responded promptly and recommend a basic 3d printer which turned out absolutely fit for purpose. Ordered online and with good communication i had printer within days. Will definitely return when I upgrade. This printing stuff is very addictive.
