ASA is a UV Stable 3D Printer Filament thats offers the same mechanical properties as ABS, while being UV resistant. It is also better in moisture applications, making it one of the best materials for outdoor use. It is light weight, & offers an excellent strength to weight ratio, much better than Petg. ASA is ideal for marine & automotive parts where ABS was often used, but ABS not being UV stable has a lower life so ASA is the current preference for such 3d prints. Just like ABS, ASA can warp/shrink if not printed correctly, so we recommend using active heated chambers. ABS is not suitable to high UV levels, & we do not recommend it for long term use in outdoor or hygroscopic applications.

He will have your best interest in mind and will recommend the best product for your needs. My positive experience dealing with him professionally has led me to buy product from him for personal use. We are very lucky to have such a supplier providing these kinds of specialized 3D Printers, Filaments, accessories and services in New Zealand. The rare filaments can sometimes be difficult to source but he will do his best to find alternatives to get what's needed ASAP or even suggest proper alternatives.
