Recycled-PETG is produced from a blend of PETG scrap sourced from restaurant menu-holder fabrication, retail display case manufacturing, and pharmaceutical packaging, combined with post-industrial offcuts from PETG sheet production.
Our R-PETG filament prints exactly the same as standard petg filament extruded from virgin petg pellets, while greatly reducing the amount of fresh plastic production in the world.
PETg has excellent mechanical propertes.
Using R-PETg is a more ecofriendly option to using standard PLA, because PETg is extremely common in the industry so there is a lot of it available, whereas PLA, though a biopolymer, still has to be grown & manufactured, so you’re ultimately producing rather than reusing.
