ASA UV Stable 3D Printing Filament is a cousin of ABS plastic, offering all the same mechanical properties of ABS, while also being UV stable.
ASA+ is a newer low shrinkage formulation of ASA is similar to ABS in almost all aspects with the addition of UV stability.
This is a large 2.5Kg spool of ASA so its great for those who print large functional parts, or print large batches with ASA.

ASA filament is preferred for outdoor use that will be exposed to the sun for extended periods of time.
It is also far less hygroscopic compared to Nylon, making it quite ok even under rain.
ASA handles around 85C temp, making it quite capable to handle heat inside a car, whereas common materials can warp on hot days inside a car cabin.
It is great in automotive & marine applications.
ABS is NOT suitable to be outside under high levels of UV, it will go brittle & crack under load even faster than PLA or PETg would under UV.
If you want the exceptional light weight performance, & non-brittle bending & snap fitting capability, ASA is one of the best plastics to 3d print with.
