ColorFabb’s varioshore TPU is a ground breking flexible filament that allows you print parts from 92A right down to 55A, on almost any direct drive 3d printer.
It achieves this using controlled foaming, so you can get the flex you want without having to own each & every filament of those shore hardnesses.
You can print with shore hardness 92A(unfoamed) to shore 55A (maximum foamed).

This is a 700g roll of foaming filament, which means you actually use less material in comparison to normal TPU & get a larger number of parts with a reduced weight.

Description

Colorfabb Varioshore foaming TPU has a variable shore hardness, reduced weight, density and soft touch.

varioShore TPU allows users to vary the density of the material by adjusting temperature and material throughput (speed & layerheight).

At temperatures between 200 and 250C the materials will start to expand to roughly 1.4-1.6 times its original volume, which reduces the density to 0.7 to 0.9 g/cm³ .

This means the material can be printed at low flow rates (60-70%), to compensate the active foaming, which in return can give you very soft rubbery printed parts.

Between 190-200C the material can be printed without foaming, resulting in different haptics and harder prints similar to standard TPU 90, compared to foamed samples.

You can even control the flow rates across the part to be able to give you varying rubber-like flexibility that is comparable to multijet 3d printing.

Perfect for 3d printing orthotic as well as prosthetics thanks to the natural matte feel.
