So the plastic that would otherwise go to a landfill is turned into world class filament.
Sustainability without compromise – RPla works as well as filament that is extruded from conventional pellet raw material.

Description

We’re really proud to showcase KiwiFil’s New Zealand made sustainably sourced R-PLA Pro filament.

Its important to note that KIwifil Recycled PLA is not made from discarded low quality material.
It is the exact same material that would otherwise be extruded into filament – but instead of pellets extruding straight to filament, it went via some factory off-cuts which got turned to filament.

The main source of RPLA material is post-industrial waste from the manufacturing of food packaging such as coffee cup lids.
It prints like regular PLA pro filament, and gives strong parts and a glossy finish.

So using RPLA is a win-win.
You reduce the carbon foot print, reduce wastage, get top quality New Zealand 100% Recycled PLA filament.
