RPLA filament is extruded from industrial waste raw material that is left behind from machining, factory offcuts, moulding trims, etc. So the raw material used is exactly the same as virgin pellets – its simply remelted & then turned into plastic filament, instead of how pellets would be extruded into filament. Same process, just a different shaped raw material input to begin with.
This stops the wasted powder & cuts from going into the landfill.
R-pla works, looks & performs exactly the same as PLA filament that is extruded from standard ‘pellets’, while greatly reducing our carbon footprint.
RPla is strong, durable, & works the same as conventional filament extruded from conventional PLA-Pro resin pellets.
