Vibers is a revolutionary PLA from Netherlands that is made using Elephant grass which grows on poor quality soild, & captures 4x CO2 than a forest.

This stops PLA made entirely from sugarcane & corn, which competes with rain forest clearings or agricultural land for food sources.
Elephant grass grows in poor quality soil, & efficiently captures 4x more CO2 than a common forest bush.

Colorfabb in Netherlands then makes wonderful filament using Vibers PLA to give you the same quality & precision you expect from them.
This is a win-win for all. Top quality – sustainability – easy to print – what more can we ask for..!

This PLA has a beautiful earthy terracotta look to it.
The elephant grass formulation is not a bright white, but a more natural looking pastel colour which instantly gives a more natural feel to your products.

This is perhaps the most important product we have ever released into New Zealand, & is a product really close to our hearts.
Please support sustainable 3d printing products, & together, let us reduce our 3d carbon foot print.

Description

The Dutch company Vibers has developed a biobased PLA formulation that includes 10% Elephant grass.

This type of grass grows incredibly efficient and catches 4 times the amount of CO2 per acre compared to a regular European forest.
It’s grown on fallow soil not used for food cultivation and doesn’t need additional irrigation.
What nature provides is enough for this plant to thrive.

Due to the leaves being discarded overtime the soil receives important nutrients and revitalizes the soil.
Once a year the crop is harvested, but only the tops, therefor the biodiversity remains intact.

We are on a mission to reduce 3d printing footprint & need your support – because only together can we do this.
Yes, this product doesn’t cost the same as virgin PLA – it just can’t.. but please think about supporting eco-friendly 3d printing initiatives so that we can reduce our 3d printing foot print.
– Sincere thanks from the Team @ 3D Printer Store.
