    This is our flagship High Strength & High Temp Nylon 6 with Carbon Fibre, which can handle a whopping 120C continuous service temperature while offering a 130 MPa strength. Despite being a Nylon 6, it has a low moisture absorption formula so it won't get soft quickly like cheaper Nylon's do. Nylon 12 offers better moisture reduction properties, but Nylon 6 is stronger & handles more heat. So This Nylon 6 aims to give you the best of both worlds. 1.75mm 750g roll.

    We're really proud to be the first to introduce this highly sought after Nylon 12 grade Carbon Reinforced 3d filament in New Zealand. Most other filaments are Nylon 6. Our PA12 opens up possibilities that PA6 might not be capable enough to handle. Nylon PA12 far less moisture absorption making PA12 CF more suited to use in close aqueous or wet conditions even in contact with water. PA6 can get soft if it left in water for very long. Nylon 12 also handles much hotter temperatures, is much stiffer than Nylon 6, & even stronger - better than Nylon 6/6 as well. Nylon 12 also has excellent anti static properties. It is also UL94 V2 Flame Retardant for a continuous running temp of 120C making it perfect for electronics housings. Please be aware that Carbon Fiber however is slightly conductive, so if you need insulative properties, then the Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon Filament will be a better choice. This is a 1Kg reel of 1.75mm filament. Carbon Fiber is always matte Black in colour (a very dark grey)

These guys are awesome. I used to buy my filament from overseas for my projects and needed something in a hurry and went looking for something local. I'm so glad I did. Not only are the prices as good or better than what I was getting overseas and even more of a deal when considering the pricing I was paying for shipping their turn around each time has been next day. Sent them an email explaining what I was trying to achieve and asked for their advice. They responded promptly and recommend a basic 3d printer which turned out absolutely fit for purpose. Ordered online and with good communication i had printer within days. Will definitely return when I upgrade. This printing stuff is very addictive.
