If you find that the machine can’t detect filament despite loading it, then this sensor may need replacing.
Before replacing the sensor, ensure there is no filament shard inside obstructing it.
And also check that the limit switch inside has not bent.
Such fixes are simple & may not need replacing the whole sensor.
In some machines such as the previous F430’s, the sensor board is mounted on the head.
On newer PEEK300 & D600 pro 2, the sensor board is mounted in the filament chamber on the aluminum housing as per the photo above.
