These simple external filament rollers can be used to put filament rolls of any size outside your printer & feed into the 3d printer. Great to load 3kg spools of filament into smaller printers. This works easily with rolls of any size including 1kg, 3kg, 5kg etc. The bearings allow rolls to turn freely, regardless of weight. The 2 pieces can be placed as far or as near as possible, based on the width of the rolls. Particularly useful for small light weight 3d printers which would otherwise topple when a heavy roll was mounted on them.

Esun calls it Mystic Silk PLA, & it comes in a few colour options. Silk PLA gives true metallic shine to it without having to polish it or post-process it. With tri colour silk filament, the object gets a colour & texture you would not be able to make with any other technology, & painting it or coating it in such a way would be an outright headache. 3d printing with dual-colour & tri-colour filaments is a lot of fun, especially for art pieces, kids toys, or school projects. Its the closest we've ever come to a PLA that actually shines like a real metal without having any metal in it. The shine also hides the print layer lines to a greater extent than other colours. Perfect to 3D Print large items without having to change over materials. In some cases, rolls end in the middle of the night. When you resume in the morning, a tiny line can form where the roll was changed over. Using large 3kg spools eliminates these issues & provides for clean perfect surfaces on 3d prints every time! Please note that these spools are bigger than popular 1kg spools. Diameter approx 250mm & height (thickness) approx 150mm. They can be laid flat outside most 3d printers easily.
