Our rPLA 3d printing filament is made from factory offcuts of PLA. So the raw material used is exactly the same as standard PLA, its simply re-melted into a PLA 3d printing filament. This stops the wasted PLA cuts from going into landfill. R-pla performs exactly the same as PLA filament that is extruded from standard pellets, while greatly reducing carbon footprint. In the past, eco-friendly filaments costed a lot more than conventional filaments, but we are working hard to change this. To show our commitment to help New Zealand makers achieve sustainability goals in 3d printing, our newest line of PLA-R filaments is at a price never before seen in New Zealand.
