    Our rPLA 3d printing filament is made from factory offcuts of PLA. So the raw material used is exactly the same as standard PLA, its simply re-melted into a PLA 3d printing filament. This stops the wasted PLA cuts from going into landfill. R-pla performs exactly the same as PLA filament that is extruded from standard pellets, while greatly reducing carbon footprint. In the past, eco-friendly filaments costed a lot more than conventional filaments, but we are working hard to change this.
