This is the new higher temperature handling version of the prove Colorfabb LW-PLA. It was originally designed for aeromodelling to make light weight aeroplane & drone hulls. But it has been very successful as a casting pattern in lost wax style casting processes. Initially, we used standard PLA for lost wax casting patterns. But since PLA-LW is lower density, there is less PLA to burn out. This makes much cleaner patterns & has far reduced ash in the process.
