The Best Grade PEEK 3D Printer Filament

This 3D4Makers PEEK filament is made in Netherlands using the absolute best Luvocom 3F 9581 formulation. The material is approved according to EN ISO 10993-1, -5 and -12*, UN-ECE R.118.03 (fire behaviour of materials in buses) and meets the NORSOK M 710 requirements. This is a Higher Flow PEEK created specifically for Additive Manufacturing to offer better Printability than other peek filaments on the market. It is a completely natural beige peek product which will give you a base filament as close to natural peek machining block colour as possible. PEEK is the best material for anything functional & mechanical, that needs to perform as closely to a metal like aluminum as possible while still being a plastic that is 3d printable. So its the perfect choice for Gears, Screws, Cogs, even complex worm wheel assembly parts are fine. That includes Hinges & other loading applications. It is also ideal for electronics enclosures where the enclosure needs to offer electrical & heat insulation, strength, flame retardance & element resistance including wet or organic aqueus conditions. This makes it the ideal filament for medical applications like temporary implants, surgical guides, orthodontic reconstruction, maxillofacial surgery & many other use cases including aeronautical & aerospace. For demanding applications where all else would fail, PEEK is the KING of 3D printer materials. Strongest 3D Printing plastic available in 3d printing filament form. Handle up to 250C continuous operating temperature with Short term temperature performance up to 300 deg C. The most dense semi-crystalline polymer thats 3d printable, yet close enough to aluminium in many applications. Chemically resistant to most corrosive substances & high resistance to aqueous conditions.Used extensively in Aerospace & Automotive applications where you need mechanical strength even at high temperature. BioMedical material that can be used for the human body, dental implants, joint replacements, the list goes on. PEEK also has low resonance properties that are comparable to natural fibres such as wood, which is helpful when it comes to vibration & damping control. This reduces screws & fasteneres loosening under load out of a peek enclosure. Since PEEK is expensive, we are offering small quantity rolls for our kiwi 3D makers who want to try this cutting edge material. This is 0.2 KG of natural PEEK 3D Printing Filament.

  • Esun Nylon 12 Carbon Fiber Now in NZ!

We're really proud to be the first to introduce this highly sought after Nylon 12 grade Carbon Reinforced 3d filament in New Zealand. Most other filaments are Nylon 6. Our PA12 opens up possibilities that PA6 might not be capable enough to handle. Nylon PA12 far less moisture absorption making PA12 CF more suited to use in close aqueous or wet conditions even in contact with water. PA6 can get soft if it left in water for very long. Nylon 12 also handles much hotter temperatures, is much stiffer than Nylon 6, & even stronger - better than Nylon 6/6 as well. Nylon 12 also has excellent anti static properties. It is also UL94 V2 Flame Retardant for a continuous running temp of 120C making it perfect for electronics housings. Please be aware that Carbon Fiber however is slightly conductive, so if you need insulative properties, then the Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon Filament will be a better choice. This is a 1Kg reel of 1.75mm filament. Carbon Fiber is always matte Black in colour (a very dark grey)
  • Latest ACF Film for 10" LCD Resin 3D Printers - Pack of 3 films The new Phrozen ACF film is designed with a non-stick and smoother film surface for more efficient 3D printing. Compared to FEP and PFA (nFEP) film, the ACF film features a better release, reducing the printing time and increasing the success rate. ACF is the strongest, & has the highest tear tolerance. It also has the lowest peel force so suction forces are minimised & you have the best print possible. NFEP film (also called PFA Film) is better than the old FEP film to reduce suction forces. ACF takes this to a whole new level. ACF film is the best choice for printing high performance engineering resins such as the Onyx series, Henkel & BASF industrial series, etc. It is a signifcatly better non-stick surface so it reduces peel forces greatly. So parts are less likely to stick to film or pop off from the build plate. This FEP Film is suitable for slightly bigger printers like Phrozen Mighty 8K, Mini 8k, Phrozen Sonic XL, Epax E10, Anycubic Mono, Elegoo Saturn etc Can also work with smaller DLP LCD 3D Printers, simply cut the sheet in half & you have 2 FEPs! This will work with Metal or Plastic vats. Very easy to use. Simply open the screws on your vat, remove the old FEP sheet, & put this sheet in place. Please see the video below to see how easily you can change the FEP on your Phrozen Sonic Mini Resin 3D Printers. You should change your FEP film when its cloudy, has excessive scratches, or you find the prints stick to it too easily rather than the bed. Depending on several factors, this is usually around 200 hrs of use. FEP is like a car tire, you can have the best mechanics but without a good tyre, you're asking for trouble. We keep our prices on consumables cheap to help kiwis get the best results with 3d printers without prolonging the need to replace important components. Also check out the PlateBond Adhesion Promotor to help your base layers stick better to the bed of your resin 3d printer.
