This is an affordable versatile glue stick that works really well on all bed surfaces for all 3d printers. PLA, ABS, ASA, HIPS etc will benefit from glue particularly on glass beds. You will need glue when 3d printing with Nylon, Carbon Fibre, PolyPropylene, & other Engineering materials that don't like to stick to other surfaces. Applying glue greatly reduces warping from all materials. You can start with this cheapest glue stick, & then move to get more specialised glue sticks from our collection of bed prep adhesives here. Just apply a thin layer of this glue on a warm build surface, & print directly on it. Please take care that if printing directly on glass beds then some materials can crack the bed when taking it off after using glue. We recommend you buy a PEI sheet first rather than directly on glass or ceramic. This is a PVA based glue that easily wipes off with a damp cloth. Reapply only as needed. This is because 3d printing changes the crystalline structure of the polymer as its laid down. However, if you want a somewhat transparent PET then please look at our Taulman T-Glase PET-t. ColorFabb LW PLA Made in Netherlands - A First in New Zealand
What is LWPLA? Its the First filament of its kind to use active foaming technology to achieve lightweight, low density PLA parts. At around 230C this material will start foaming, increasing its volume nearly 3 times. So if you're into 3d printing Model Aeroplanes, Drones, or making custom packaging inserts, this is the 3d printer filament you've been waiting for! You can now 3d print light weight aerofoils using nice strong shells rather than the old ways of using thin nozzles with single shells to keep the weight low - which in turn would make weak, delicate air frames that would need additional post processing to become usable. A4 Size NFEP Film for medium size SLA Resin 3D Printers NFEP film also called PFA Film is better than standard FEP film to reduce suction forces. It is basically a better quality of the non-stick surface so it reduces peel forces. So parts are less likely to stick to film or pop off from the build plate. This FEP Film is suitable for slightly bigger printers like Phrozen Sonic XL, Phrozen Mighty, Epax E10, Anycubic Mono, Elegoo Saturn etc Can also work with smaller DLP LCD 3D Printers, simply cut the sheet in half & you have 2 FEPs! This will work with Metal or Plastic vats. Very easy to use. Simply open the screws on your vat, remove the old FEP sheet, & put this sheet in place. Please see the video below to see how easily you can change the FEP on your Phrozen Sonic Mini Resin 3D Printers. You should change your FEP film when its cloudy, has excessive scratches, or you find the prints stick to it too easily rather than the bed. Depending on several factors, this is usually around 200 hrs of use. FEP is like a car tyre, you can have the best mechanics but without a good tyre, you're asking for trouble. We keep our prices on consumables cheap to help kiwis get the best results with 3d printers without prolonging the need to replace important components.
