Pet-G is very good functional material & its easier to work with than Abs. It is the same food safe PET thats used in water bottles etc It does not shrink or warp as easily as Abs does, & thus provides good dimensional accuracy for beginners who want to move up from PLA+. It provides excellent finish, high tensile strength, & has a higher Glass Transition Temperature of 70 deg C. It is highly recommended for those who want high temperature & high strength properties compared to PLA. Esun PetG 1.75mm 1Kg RED is a solid, bright red colour, not translucent. Esun Nylon 12 Carbon Fiber Now in NZ!
We're really proud to be the first to introduce this highly sought after Nylon 12 grade Carbon Reinforced 3d filament in New Zealand. Most other filaments are Nylon 6. Our PA12 opens up possibilities that PA6 might not be capable enough to handle. Nylon PA12 far less moisture absorption making PA12 CF more suited to use in close aqueous or wet conditions even in contact with water. PA6 can get soft if it left in water for very long. Nylon 12 also handles much hotter temperatures, is much stiffer than Nylon 6, & even stronger - better than Nylon 6/6 as well. Nylon 12 also has excellent anti static properties. It is also UL94 V2 Flame Retardant for a continuous running temp of 120C making it perfect for electronics housings. Please be aware that Carbon Fiber however is slightly conductive, so if you need insulative properties, then the Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon Filament will be a better choice. FlashForge Carbon Fibre PETg Filament
Made using PETG and High-Modulus Carbon Fiber, FlahForge PETG CF is a high strength, matted, easy to 3d print CF reinforced 3D printing filament. Carbon Fibre coupled with the higher temperature handling & stiffness of PETG presents an advantage over other PLA based carbon fibre filaments that soften at lower temperatures, since PLA will soften faster than Petg & is also weaker. This is a brand of glue that we have found to work really well on all beds for all 3d printers. You will need glue when 3d printing with Nylon, Carbon Fibre, PolyPropylene, & other materials that don't like to stick to other surfaces. Just apply a thin layer of this glue on a warm build surface, & print directly on it. Please take care that if printing directly on glass beds then some materials can crack the bed when taking it off after using glue. We recommend you buy a PEI sheet first if you plan to print a material with glue. This is a PVA based glue that easily wipes off with a damp cloth. Reapply only as needed. Less is more with Glue when used for 3d printing. 20g glue stick
