3D Printing Filaments

  • Esun ePA Nylon Filament

PA (Polyamide) is a natural Nylon which has several advantages as a plastic. High Strength, High Flexibility, High Surface Abrasion Resistance, Excellent Chemical & Petroleum Resistance. Nylon is suited perfectly in lubricating applications for bearings, gears & pulleys with belts. Nylon can be a challenging material to 3d print. But our new formulations are making Nylon 3d printing much easier than before. Active Heated chamber is always recommended for the best performance, but this filament is easier than many others on the market. Please consider advanced 3d printers such as the Creatbot F-430 3D Printer if you intend to 3D Print Functional parts frequently.
  • Esun eFlex 87A TPU Flexible 3D Printing Filament

This is grade 87A TPU which is quite flexible, yet slightly easier to 3d print than the softer grade like NinjaFlex 85A or TPE Elastic 83A. Thermoplastic Elastomeric is a broad category of flexible plastic filaments. This grade works well with most popular direct drive extruder 3d printers including Creatbot, Makerbot, FlashForge Creator, Prusa, Wanhao, etc without requiring extensive modifications. It is not the best choice for Bowden style 3d printers, but it has a better chance of working with them over the softer 83 or 85 TPU.. For cheaper bowden machines like Creality Ender, we recommend you start with Grade 95A as it is is easier to print. This is a 1 KG roll of 1.75mm Natural coloured Flexible plastic filament, slightly opague. If you want very rubbery stretchy prints that could even be used for some gaskets, please see our 83A filament. If you want very durable rubbery 3d prints that exhibit some similarity to HDPE / LDPE then please consider PA Nylon Filament
  • Why our CF PLA filament? Did you know that most Carbon Fiber reinforced PLA filaments have only 5% of Carbon in them? Our filament has 20% Carbon Fibre in it - making for a substantial improvement to PLA 3d filaments. We hunted long & far to find a PLA Plus CF that actually performs like it should, & finally have got one made to our specification using PLA plus rather than standard PLA & adding fibre to it. Improved toughness & higher flexural strength are just the beginning. Add Improved surface abrasion resistance, meaning prints wont be scratched easily over other materials. Expect improved peak temperature handling performance, meaning a short burst of temperature won't instantly melt your part. And the Good looks are a bonus. The surface finish of our PLA is smooth & the material is more reliable to 3d print than cheaper options. We still recommend using 0.6mm nozzles for big prints, but 0.4mm is not a problem for standard 3d printing.
  • PVA is commonly used as a soluble support material for 3d prints. Some delicate 3d prints or items that need really good surface finish, need to use a lot of support. Because of that, the complex support material can be difficult to manually remove & it can even crack the actual part while being removed. PVA solves the problem because you 3d print the main part with 1 head using PLA & print the supports with the other head using PVA. It is the best soluble material for dual extruder 3d printers especially when printing with PLA. This PVA is top quality & will deliver superb results on any 3D Printer. 0.5Kg roll of 1.75mm filament in a plain natural colour.
  • ASA UV Stable 3D Printing Filament is a cousin of the famous ABS. ASA is similar to ABS in almost all aspects with the addition of UV stability. So it can be 3D Printed like ABS in most 3D Printers. BLACK colour ASA 3D Printer Filament 1 Kg roll Please remember that UV stability does not mean 100% UV 'Proof' All plastics - even PolyCarbonate will eventually crumble under our harsh New Zealand sun or other high levels of UV. But ASA is the cheapest material to offer UV immunity. It is also easier to work with than more advanced materials.
  • 3D4Makers C8 3D Printing Filament 1.75mm 750g

Facilanâ„¢ C8 is a type of filament specifically designed for 3D printing. It is known for its excellent printability and high strength properties compared to traditional PLA (Polylactic Acid) filament. One notable advantage of Facilanâ„¢ C8 is its ability to print without visible layers. This means that the printed object will have a smooth and seamless appearance, devoid of any visible lines or layers that are typically seen with other filament types. This makes Facilanâ„¢ C8 ideal for printing objects that require a high level of aesthetic finish. In addition to its superior surface finish, Facilanâ„¢ C8 also possesses enhanced strength properties compared to PLA. The filament has good dimensional stability, which means that the printed objects are less prone to warping or shrinking during the printing process. This allows for greater structural integrity and accuracy in the printed parts.
  • Esun Pure PolyCarbonate Filament from 3D Printer Store

Poly-Carbonate commonly referred to as just PC, is one of the most capable Functional Polymers in the world. PC is the King of cost-effective engineering thermoplastics thanks to High Temperature resistance, UV stability & Flame Retarding. Flame retardant level: UL94:V2 Pure PC handles a whooping 140C continuous operating temperature - only to be beaten by PEI / PEEK Print temperature range: 240-280℃; Black PolyCarbonate Esun Filament 0.5Kg in 1.75mm ABS will only handle 85C in most continuous high temperature applications. You can boil water in pure PC but you can't in ABS or any blended PC-ABS. Pure PC is thus food safe & common in food containers.

Recommend Print Settings: Please see our article here on how to 3D Print Carbon Fibre

Please remember to dry out the rolls in an oven at 70C for at least 4 hrs before 3d printing (even with a brand new roll, drying often helps) Active Heated chamber recommended for the best performance. Consider our Creatbot F-430 3D Printer if you intend to 3D Print Functional Carbon Fibre parts in a production like manner. 3D Printer Store has NZ's Largest range of engineering grade 3D Printing filaments & Carbon Fiber filaments.
  • FlashForge Carbon Fibre PETg Filament

Made using PETG and High-Modulus Carbon Fiber, FlahForge PETG CF is a high strength, matted, easy to 3d print CF reinforced 3D printing filament. Carbon Fibre coupled with the higher temperature handling & stiffness of PETG presents an advantage over other PLA based carbon fibre filaments that soften at lower temperatures, since PLA will soften faster than Petg & is also weaker. This filament is ideal for anyone that desires a structural component with high modulus, excellent surface quality, dimensional stability, light weight, and ease of printing. Petg is also easier to 3d print than Nylon in some 3d printers. This filament is an excellent alternative to carbon fiber Nylon filaments in case you need lower moisture absorption, & higher stiffness compared to a Nylon based polymer. 1.75mm 1kg roll of PetG Carbon Fiber Filament Benefits of  PETG Carbon include: PETG Carbon Filament Material Properties
    • Density 1.3 g/cm³
    • Charpy impact Strength 3.91 KJ/m2
    • Tensile Strength 51 MPa
    • Glass temperature tg 75°
    • Superior Chemical Resistance vs. ABS
    • Amorphous:  Low and near isotropic, for minimal shrinkage
    • Low moisture absorption:  3X lower vs. ABS
    • Low odor emitted during printing
    • Wide processing range:  220 - 260°C
