Polyether Imide (PEI) Ultem 1010 is an amorphous thermoplastic with a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217 °C. It has a continuous operating temperature of up to 170 °C. This inherently flame retardant plastic has UL94 V0 and 5VA ratings. It is dark amber & slightly translucent. We source our ultra performance filaments very carefully, as they are expensive, & we want you to have the best experience with them. We selected 3D4Makers ultra Filament that's Made in Netherlands to tight tolerances & offers easier printability than other ultra performance filaments on the market. Good printability leads to excellent layer adhesion & this greatly improves the impact resistance, strength & durability of this PEI 1010 filament over that of others. eSUN Nylon 12 Carbon Fiber Now in NZ!
We're really proud to be the first to introduce this highly sought after Nylon 12 grade Carbon Reinforced 3d filament in New Zealand. Most other filaments are Nylon 6. Our PA12 opens up possibilities that PA6 might not be capable enough to handle. Nylon PA12 far less moisture absorption making PA12 CF more suited to use in close aqueous or wet conditions even in contact with water. PA6 can get soft if it left in water for very long. Nylon 12 also handles much hotter temperatures, is much stiffer than Nylon 6, & even stronger - better than Nylon 6/6 as well. Nylon 12 also has excellent anti static properties. It is also UL94 V2 Flame Retardant for a continuous running temp of 120C making it perfect for electronics housings. Please be aware that Carbon Fiber however is slightly conductive, so if you need insulative properties, then the Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon Filament will be a better choice. This is a 1Kg reel of 1.75mm filament. Carbon Fiber is always matte Black in colour (a very dark grey) -

Esun eFlex 87A TPU Flexible 3D Printing Filament
This is grade 87A TPU which is quite flexible, yet slightly easier to 3d print than the softer grade like NinjaFlex 85A or TPE Elastic 83A. Thermoplastic Elastomeric is a broad category of flexible plastic filaments. This grade works well with most popular direct drive extruder 3d printers including Creatbot, Makerbot, FlashForge Creator, Prusa, Wanhao, etc without requiring extensive modifications. It is not the best choice for Bowden style 3d printers, but it has a better chance of working with them over the softer 83 or 85 TPU.. For cheaper bowden machines like Creality Ender, we recommend you start with Grade 95A as it is is easier to print. This is a 1 KG roll of 1.75mm Natural coloured Flexible plastic filament, slightly opague. If you want very rubbery stretchy prints that could even be used for some gaskets, please see our 83A filament. If you want very durable rubbery 3d prints that exhibit some similarity to HDPE / LDPE then please consider PA Nylon Filament -

This is the eSun Natural PLA from their Transparent PLA range. ESun offer a very accurate & well respected PLA 3d printing filament that has taken the world by storm. PLA is naturally sourced, compostible & bio-degradable. It is the easiest material to 3d print. Our range of eSun PLA colours is growing everyday. FDM materials can never be fully transparent, but this is a very good translucent option. If you want a more clear option please consider Taulman PET T-Glase or Pure PolyCarbonate. In the past, if you wanted functionality (but didn't need high temperature resistance), you still had to use other alternatives like PetG / ABS which were harder to work with. Now you can 3d print with the ease of PLA while getting many functional advantages & yet be eco-friendly thanks to eSun PLA lite! A quick note about printing eSun PLA - In our experience it works best slightly hotter than standard PLA. For eg, if you print PLA between 190-200C usually (like we do), then its recommended you go to 210-220C for PLA lite. Of course there are a lot of factors around 3d printing extruder temperature, but start at 210C & see how you. -
Why our PLA-CF filament? Did you know that most Carbon Fiber reinforced PLA filaments have only 5% of Carbon in them? Our filament has 20% Carbon Fibre in it - making for a substantial improvement to PLA 3d filaments. We hunted long & far to find a PLA Plus CF that actually performs like it should, & finally have got one made to our specification using PLA plus rather than standard PLA & adding fibre to it. Improved toughness & higher flexural strength are just the beginning. Add Improved surface abrasion resistance, meaning prints wont be scratched easily over other materials. Expect improved peak temperature handling performance, meaning a short burst of temperature won't instantly melt your part. And the Good looks are a bonus. The surface finish of our PLA is smooth & the material is more reliable to 3d print than cheaper options. We still recommend using 0.6mm nozzles for big prints, but 0.4mm is not a problem for standard 3d printing.
