Though sunlight has UV in it, there is very less intensity of 405nm wavelenth UV that is needed to cure 3d prints. Enough UV to give you a sun burn, sure. But to cure a 3d print - not really. The correct UV wavelength is able to penetrate part surface, sunlight can not. Sunlight will also heat up your model much more than the UV you would get to polymerise the liquid. Curing in the sun heats up models unevenly, & causes distortion. A curer rotates as it exposes UV, thereby raising the part temperature evenly. This improves the interlayer adhesion & creates strong components that exhibit the qualities the resin makers expected you to achieve. Compared to FEP and PFA (nFEP) film, the ACF film features a better release, reducing the printing time and increasing the success rate. ACF is the strongest, & has the highest tear tolerance. It also has the lowerst peel force so suction forces are minised & you have the best print possible. NFEP film (also called PFA Film) is better than the old FEP film to reduce suction forces. ACF takes this to a whole new level. Creatbot S-PAHT is a dedicated breakaway support filament optimised to work with high temp Nylons & Poly Carbonates. This gives you a smooth surface finish where the support is removed. This support material works well with our Carbon Fiber reinforced Nylons & Glass Fiber Nylons & PC-CF as well. If you print supports with the same material as the part, the area where support sticks is usually rough. Breakaway supports fix this problem by providing more contact while being easy to break off. This 3D4Makers PEEK filament is made in Netherlands using recycled PEEK. Recycled PEEK is generally made by collecting PEEK powder from CNC machine shops, which is then extruded into 3d printing filament. This means you get the exact same filament as normal PEEK, just being sourced sustainably because the powder that would have otherwise gone to waste has been reused to make filament. And, its half the price. PEEK handles continuous operating temperature of 260C & peak loading up to 320C. It has a strength to weight ration higher than Aluminum. And it has the resonance damping properties comparable to wood. Considered to be the best 3d printing material presently available in filament form. It is a natural beige peek product which will give you a base filament as close to natural peek machining block colour as possible. PEEK is the best material for anything functional & mechanical, that needs to perform as closely to a metal like aluminum as possible while still being a plastic that is 3d printable. We're really proud to be the first to introduce this highly sought after Nylon 12 grade Carbon Reinforced 3d filament in New Zealand. Most other filaments are Nylon 6. Our PA12 opens up possibilities that PA6 might not be capable enough to handle. Nylon PA12 far less moisture absorption making PA12 CF more suited to use in close aqueous or wet conditions even in contact with water. PA6 can get soft if it left in water for very long. Nylon 12 also handles much hotter temperatures, is much stiffer than Nylon 6, & even stronger - better than Nylon 6/6 as well. Nylon 12 also has excellent anti static properties. It is also UL94 V2 Flame Retardant for a continuous running temp of 120C making it perfect for electronics housings. Please be aware that Carbon Fiber however is slightly conductive, so if you need insulative properties, then the Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon Filament will be a better choice. This is a 1Kg reel of 1.75mm filament. Carbon Fiber is always matte Black in colour (a very dark grey)

Hot End assembly for Creatbot D600 Pro 2 & D1000 3d printer. Please note this is not for previous D600 machines. It is not for F series machines or P series either. The hot end includes the mount block, the heat brake (throat tube) & a nozzle. We only sell Genuine spare parts, so you can rest assured they will work as expected & are built to the high standards that Creatbot supplies. These nozzles are individually turned for the main production process, not die casted like budget models. So you get accurate crucibles which offer better retraction control. The standard version prints up to 260C with a teflon lined heat brake. Perfect for common material like PLA, PETG etc. The high temp version handles up to 420C, & doesnt have a teflon liner, which makes it last longer when printing Carbon Fiber & other reinforced materials. Replacing hot ends is a great time to check if you also need a new temperature sensor (thermister or thermocouple), or a new cartridge heater. This booking includes up to 1 hour of our time in repairing or servicing the machine.
